Who is Jehan Legac?
Well… I don’t even know myself.
I am sometimes a designer, a photographer, a painter and most of the time all together:

I love women.
I love eroticism.
I love colours.
I love dreams.
I love ART.

I don’t like untruthful people and I hate violence.

How would you describe your typical day?
Sea, Sex and Rock&Roll… Just kidding. Computers, Bills, and Work….

Do you choose your subjects or do they choose you?
I would love to be selected sometime to create a special artwork for somebody but up to now; I had to do the work and to choose them by myself…

The Internet is now a great tool for that and makes things much easier.

Describe your technique of digital painting?
Hummm... This is difficult for me to say. I get a long drink, roll a big …., pick a picture and load it to Photoshop.

I look deeply into the picture and I start dreaming… I fly within the pixels. Play around with colours and chrome. Flirt with the model. Create new hair style. Modify slightly her hips or her eyes if needed. Touch her legs and brush against her breasts.

After that, I feel exhausted and I go to sleep. It is 5AM… I have to calm down. The day after, I keep on and I add some modification to the piece. It can last for weeks.

Once the picture is ready, I upload it on my website and start working the original with my printer, oil pigments, airbrush and finally my spray gun to varnish it.

How is it to work with high profile models, including our very own Kelly Kole?
It Depends. Sometimes I get the right model. We understand each other and we have the same will and desire to give 100% power to the photo session. That is Fantastic. It is like a perfect relationship. It's like making love using vibrations instead of skin contact.

Sometimes, everything goes wrong. The envelope looks good but the inside is empty. No life, no desire, no passion. Grrrr

Kelly Kole is one of the nicest models I have worked with.

What is your most important goal in life as a person and as an artist?
As a person: my goal is to enjoy life as much as possible. To be honest with you, it is not always my attitude but you've asked me for "my goal".

As an artist: my goal is to be hanged in an art museum.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why?
I would love to meet the King Louis XIV, "The Sun King". This famous French king used to make after-hours party on the 17th century in his gorgeous castle of Versailles. Thousands of guests where up-dressed and eroticism was floating all around.

Art was so important to him that he ruined the entire country, but nevertheless, gave such a strong meaning to Art.

How would you describe your work?
My art is something unique, something personal. Something you must own. It is my way to show women how beautiful they are.

Who have been some of your main influences as an artist and a person?
I am an autodidact artist and have no influence. On the other hand, I feel that I have lots of them in my mind, unconsciously. I sometimes get comments from visitors to my website with references to Salvador Dali and Toulouse Lautrec. I feel very flattered to read that. Thank you…

From Dali, I have the same fluid obsession, like if the body skin could liquefy and melt. From Lautrec I got the same need to draw and paint women. This passion never stops, whether complete bodies or body parts, I am addicted to lace, suspenders and corset.

What are your immediate plans for the future?
Create, Create, Create… Make dreams come true...
