One
word: Symbiotic Who
is Alison Raimes? I studied a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Manchester Metropolitan University (1994-1997) and an MA in Fine Art at Kent Institute of Art and Design (2001-2002).
Describe
your technique. My task is to take the scientific imagery and make it 'new'. In my work, the real and the unreal become indistinguishable. I invite both myself and the viewer to find new meaning by distancing us from what we think we know. The departure point from science into art invites imagination to run riot, and in that domain reality starts to look very different. How
is the living experience of living and breathing in London's East End?
What
is your most important goal in life? What
is a camera painting? If
you could meet anyone living or dead; who would that be and why? If
you had to live in one room for your entire life, what would it look
like?
What
do you think is the secret of your success? What
other art doctrines do you currently work on? Who
have been some of your main influences as an artist and as a person?
Finish
the following statement: existentialism is to art what... Where
do you see yourself 10 years from now?
